FDC Storz Connection

FDC Connections also known as Fire Department Connection which allows for a quick connection of a large diameter hose by the fire department. The FDC Connection allows a fire department to quickly feed a fire sprinkler system or standpipe system the water it needs for fighting fires.

 

FDC’s Connections are widely used on all types of building applications. They are an important part of the fire department ability to aid in fighting fires in large industrial warehouse or buildings.

Currently most departments are switching over to the Storz connection for FDC Connections. This allows them to response quicker in putting the wet stuff on the hot stuff.

 

Storz sizes available: 4″ Storz, 5″ Storz
Thread Options: 4″ Female Pipe Thread, 6″ Female Pipe Thread

 

FDC also come in a straight configuration which is a standard hook up for most fire departments connections.
