Fire Hose Testers

Fire hose testers are an important part of the fire department in making sure that the hose is in compliance. Hose testing allows you to make sure it’s in operable condition before usage. It’s also an important part of the NFPA 1962 standard.

The NFPA 1962 is a standard for the care, use, inspection, service testing, and replacement of fire hose, couplings, nozzles, and fire hose appliances. This standard outlines the requirements for fire hose, couplings, nozzles, and other appliances in order to ensure a reasonable level of reliability when used at an incident.

Fire Hose Testers come in various styles such as electric powered or gas powered.  Fire Hose Testers come with the ability to test multiple hose sizes.
